Now that summer is here and you’re starting to use your air conditioning system at home you might be interested in how you can make it run more efficiently. There are a lot of advertisements this time of year offering HVAC system checkups; some contractors are looking to get their foot in the door to sell you a new system and others are honest people that can give your system a clean bill of health or show you what’s physically wrong and provide a competitive quote to fix the problem. If your HVAC system blows out air that is 15 degrees cooler then the room temperature, more than likely there are no problems with any of the components or the refrigerant. But that doesn’t mean you’re HVAC system is running efficiently.
